To plan the EGDC’s activities in the short, medium and long term, to design and carry out substantive research projects, to analyse major trends and changes in various gender and development issues in the ECOWAS region and to monitor and report on the implementation of EGDC programmes and projects in Member States, and to provide management with evidence-based information for decision-making on programme implementation and organisational performance.
