1. PROJECT BACKGROUND
ECOWAS was created on May 28, 1975 by the Treaty of Lagos, which was subsequently revised in 1991

2. PROJECT STRUCTURE
The project is structured into three components, as described below.
– Mapping of gender inequalities in national laws in order to identify the necessary

3. PROFILE OF THE RESOURCE PERSON
In order to implement the project, the CCDG is recruiting a resource person with
solid experience in the administrative and financial management of regional projects.
3.1. Tasks of the Project Assistant
Under the supervision of CCDG’s Gender and Civil Society Program Manager, the Project Assistant will be responsible for

Qualifications and experience:

6. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

7. REMUNERATION
Remuneration is payable monthly. Monthly remuneration does not include the cost of travel

9. Selection method
The consultant will be selected according to the selection method based on qualifications as
